Meditation : Why ? When ? How ?

If the idea is to help yourself & help your society & help everyone who is in contact with you, you have to start meditating.Why it is important? This helps you to balance your mind & soul & realise some true potential in oneself which you cannot find if you are not balanced.

Meditation does not have to be too complicated, it has to be very simple for which you don't have to think twice whether to do it or skip it. It has to be in your lifestyle, in your daily routine just you eat food to keep your body energetic and healthy one also has to give food and good and positive vibrations and thoughts to mind to get the most out of it. That is why it is called total balanced human being with good mind body and soul.

When to do meditation ?

Everyone of us have 24 hours in one day and there is no single person who has some extra time. So one has to manage time and take out some time whether its early in the morning or while you are going to sleep, or even you can take out some time in the afternoon after you have your lunch. Connecting with oneself needs little consistency, and don't get worried if you do not get connecting or cannot focus in first few days its same just you started learning a bycycle when you first had thought of learning it. Be open practice and you will be able to get to the point where you realise calmness within you where no external environment and internal pressures will take over you because you would know the art to deal to yourself.

Start with 5-10 minutes in initial days and you can increase the time to 30 min to 1 hour which will depend how consistent efforts you input and what output you want from the practice. But i must assure you, if you do so you will be a different person altogether with a balanced approach in life & positive mindset.

How to start meditating?

let me give you a simple technique very easy and effective. This is to start with and in later articles we can explain the further techniques which are more advanced as per ones requirement.

Here you can sit comfortably in an isolated area and remember to have some soothing music around you which we use it to help us focus & avoid outside distractions. Now you can close your eyes smoothly and start taking in long breaths. Inhale and exhale while you control your breath. this is what you need to focus on and slowly start feeling the breath going in and coming out from your body and feeling the new energy travelling in to your complete body when you breath in. While you breath out focus on the air coming out. Once you are comfortable doing it you will still have many thoughts coming and distracting your mind but thats natural let them come and your work is to focus on your breath back. if you are able to do that successfully for about 15 min to 30 min you have covered the stage one of meditation and you are ready to move to the next level.

Some of us might take 2 weeks to 6 months to get comfortable with this practice but doing it in a regular manner will totally turn you into a different person with a different thought process and you will be more powerful and clam internally. This will help you in every field of your life be it social, economical, business, job or personal. Try it and feel the difference.
